That game was a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Aaron Rodgers sure is something special, especially when you consider that he definitely isn't 100% out there. I'd imagine the bye week is a welcome gift for him.

Great bounce back week for Mason Crosby after his atrocious game last week.

Aaron Jones needs 15+ carries a game.

I’m not sure if those completions in the final drive were pitiful pass defense or crazy Rodgers talent. That being said, it was something to watch.

It was a very entertaining game.

I liked one of the plays near the end right after Aaron was sacked and the next play he busted one straight up the middle.

Aaron Rodgers is a bad man!

Aaron Rodgers is ridiculous. The rest of the Packers not so much.

It's amazing to me that a team can't put competent talent around a player of Rodgers talent.

It's been beyond frustrating to watch. It's like having the winning lottery ticket and choosing to never cash it.

On that last drive Rodgers kept signaling to his sideline "one more play" to try to get closer for Crosby. The last play he ran before the FG attempt was with 6 seconds remaining, if I remember correctly. He was really feeling it.

You are right, they ran it with 6 seconds on the clock, but he didn't even remotely try to complete that pass. He just didn't want them to have to kick off.

I thought running a play with 6 seconds left was a huge coaching mistake by the Packers. A couple of times out of a 100 that one backfires on you.

He knew what he was doing though. As MJ was saying, he wasn't trying to complete the pass, just throwing it in the general direction of a receiver so as to avoid a grounding call. I trust Rodgers making that kind of call, I can't say that about every QB.

What if you have a penalty and there is a mandatory clock run off?

I am not saying I know all the rules but that was risky.

That's kind of what I was thinking, too. Crazy things can happen...bad snap, QB slips and falls, mishandles snap, etc.

I didn't think the risk was worth the reward. I'd rather just kick the field goal with six seconds left and then squib a kick.

I do like unorthodox things though.

I thought maybe he did that as to not rush the field goal team. Run one more play so they are good and ready. Given Crosby's woes last week the last thing he needed was to have to rush a kick to win the game.

On field goals there is a 5 second run off. They would’ve had to kickoff with 1 second left had they not run the play. That’s my guess as to why it wasn’t run. By running that play you guarantee that the field goal is the last play of the game.
