Syracuse just wore down in the trenches late in the 4th quarter.

Rush the field when beating Cuse?

I believe Clemson fans come onto the field after a win no matter what. It's one of their traditions.

Does anyone know the status of Lawrence’s injury? Just saw he left the game but didn’t see any details. Crazy timing of Lawrence going down right after Bryant announces his transfer.

I believe it’s some sort of leg injury. The severity I’m not sure about. He did walk off the field.

He was hit around the neck n head area. I thought it was concussion or shoulder issue.

I figured this would likely be close. Syracuse is likely a top 20 team.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed. I’m actually surprised a school allows that in this day and age.

It surprises me too, but I will say that since it is expected, I think they manage to make it more orderly than a traditional rush of the field. Perhaps that works in their favor safety-wise.

The thing that I'm always worried about safety-wise believe it or not is their run down the hill. For some reason, it's just always looked likely to me that somebody is going to fall down that thing and hurt themselves for the game.

I went to Clemson from ‘00 to ‘03 and I probably rushed the field 6 times, I don’t know if they do it every time or if it’s just big wins and comebacks? They are more rush happy than your average team, a lot of spirit in the fan base.

The run down the hill is a cool tradition but I kinda hold my breath every time. Now they do it it like 4 guys at a time and do a slow hop/trot kind of deal that makes it significantly safer than all running down like they used to.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Clemson dropped a bit even with a win. 2 muffed punt returns, fumbles, and QB going down resulting in #3 guy going in at QB, distractions throughout the week, and they still won. Syracuse may not be ranked but they have a heck of a QB and were undefeated. Hopefully sunshine comes back next week but Brice actually looked pretty good. If you can win when everything goes wrong you’re a good team.
