You don’t think Terry Wilson is even average? I would definitely disagree with that. Terry Wilson has played a lot better this season than I expected. They don’t beat Florida without Terry. He won them that game. I thought UK would struggle to replace Stephen Johnson, but I think UK has improved at the position this year. The first game was rough, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far.

I think he's a fine player. I just don't think he's an actual QB. I think to be able to compete with the upper echelon of CFB you need a QB that can actually pass the football.

Having the nation's top RB clearly helps, but that'll only take them so far.

When you say compete with the upper echelon of college football who are you talking about? I get UK has looked good, but it would take a lot more than a better QB to compete with Bama.

No one is competing with Bama this year IMO, so not them, but I'm talking about legit top 25 teams on a weekly basis. No chance this team is hanging with the Georgias, or A&Ms of the world without the threat of being able to move the ball through the air.

Kentucky is a better team than A&M with Terry Wilson at QB. Put some more faith in Terry, I think he’ll surprise you. Maybe I’m biased but I think this Kentucky team can compete with any team in the country outside of the top 8 teams or so.

Admittedly, most everyone I know thinks I'm off base in my opinion of Terry, but I don't see a QB when I watch him play. I see a guy that would be lethal in the Randall Cobb type roll, but not a true QB. :idunno:

Terry Wilson is a well above average athlete (almost a Lamar Jackson) who runs great and is ok at passing. He makes UK much better with his running which compliments Snell and Rose. He can pass just enough to keep you honest at this point. He needs to get much better from the pocket if they want to play with the big boys. I like UK's defense a lot!

Cats by 10.

He’s the definition of a dual-threat. His arm and legs beat Florida. You gotta take the good with the bad. He’s the perfect wildcard for UK to unleash on the SEC.

Throw more passes to Conrad.

South Carolina by a FG.

You have now officially taken over the role as Mr. Pessimist from me.

I forgot he was on the team briefly.

will be ready for this one. Being at Commonwealth (yes, I know it's Kroger but it will always be Commonwealth Stadium to me :sneaky:), I think that riding high off the MSU win that U.K. will win in a close one. Maybe a winning TD or FG late in the 4th qtr..

U.K. by 2pts.

I've picked them to lose against Florida and Mississippi State, so I don't want to change my strategy.

The biggest reason this season feels different to me is when I watch Kentucky play, I see an SEC team. I see a team that can match-up with the rest of the league in size, strength, athleticism, and most importantly depth. They look (and act) like they belong. This team has a swagger about them and I can't recall ever seeing that before with the Cats.
