September 23, 20187 yr OU has a strong offense, but a suspect defense that as things played out couldn't stop UC in the 2nd half. UC played like hot garbage in all three phases for most of the 1st half, and the MAC officiating crew piled on whenever possible to push this game in a direction that the Bearcats refused to fight through the past 3 years. Desmond Ridder went 5-6 on 3rd down in the 2nd half and OU was forced to settle for 3 on multiple occasions as they tried to hold on. This is a UC team that is still a few steps away from a full recovery, but refusing to fold at any sign of adversity is a huge step in the right direction...

Add that to the roughing the passer call when the QB became a runner and threw up a prayer while being taken down and that completely changed the game in the first half to give OU their first score and momentum. This UC team has a long ways to go but a lot to like about this group considering how young they are.
September 23, 20187 yr I cannot understand why Ohio did not run a QB sneak on 2nd down from inside the 1 yd line. UC had no one lined up over the center and the QB could have easily fallen into the endzone behind center. Instead he hands it off 5 yds. deep and the RB is is dropped for a loss, which led to the horrible pass on 3rd down. Cost them the game.
