They just dished out their fourth consecutive 1st half running clock to start the season. And they did it against a team that the Purples struggled to put away three weeks ago.

Yes. If for no other reason than the comparative score of the Central Hardin game.

I don't really care either way, but no is the answer. If you thought BG was better than South Warren yesterday than that shouldn't change after tonight. BG has played a much tougher schedule and is 4-0.

But it doesn't matter, it's just a poll and the two teams play each other later on in the season. And BG is at a HUGE disadvantage because of their scheduling playing Warren Central, IN away the week before.

Absolutely. I’ve been calling for the 2018 5A state champions to be #1 in 5A since July.

There’s a #newsheriff in town.

BG is 2 tight ends and one receiver learning to not drop the ball away from being an entirely different monster. The amount of first downs and touchdowns lost due to poor hands amazes me. I can't remember seeing more.

At the moment SW looks more dominant and polished however Ill put my money on BG against any 5A team when Beau has reliable targets. My practices would include a throwing machine launching rockets at the receiving core for hours a day.

South Warren will have to cut down on the penalties. 2nd-3rd and 15 is a different situation against BG, CovCath etc.

Great Bullitin Board Material! Thank you!

If they need bulletin board material after what happened last season in the locker room after the game then they’ve already lost.

We’ll find out what BG is made of since they’ll be playing Warren Central and South Warren in back to back weeks. Bold strategy.

I remember what happened to the locker room after the game. Classy.

You can't take the comparative scores against Central Hardin into consideration. Central Hardin lost Chase Elmore, starting QB/ DB, and Gavin George, starting RB/WR/DB, in the CAL game last week, arguably the best players on the offensive and defensive side of the ball for Central Hardin

Hardin County Preps is 100 percent correct.

The Central Hardin team that South Warren saw is NOT the same roster that Bowling Green saw. Like HCP said, Central Hardin lost a pair of starters on both sides of the ball. CH just lost a QB, a WR and two starters in the secondary. That hurts.

Remember, Central Hardin was beating CAL at CAL with George and Elmore (they both got hurt late in 2Q).
