Final.

Am I reading this correctly?

Color me shocked! Wow!

Am I reading this correctly?

You are if it says Owensboro Catholic 45 - Owensboro 32.

I am in complete shock. I know this is a rivalry. But talk about a hangover. I was of the impression that Owensboro would hang with BG and SW in the region this season. Now I feel completely stupid.

Cat,

WHAT HAPPENED?

I realize this is a rivalry game, but never saw this coming!

No defensive backs they are the worst bunch ever over at Owensboro coaches are just as bad

Talk about a turn around. Revamped offense, smothering defense, qb Drew Hartz is a legit baller. OC overcame 4 turnovers to come back from a 10 point deficit in the fourth quarter. Great atmosphere at Steele stadium with a packed house saw a great game. Not sure why ohs didn’t keep getting ball to owsley and #3. OCath may have turned the corner and sent shock waves across western ky.

They didn't give it to Owsley more because that's the coaches we have over here we have to put up with it every year that's why we will never compete for a state title

Shocker. Watched a lot of the 2nd half and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I expected OHS to completely dominate the LOS but it was Catholic who I saw dominating. I thought Catholic could have some success vs the OHS secondary if Hartz had any time in the pocket but I didn’t expect anything like this. Owensboro looked lost down the stretch and Catholic looked unstoppable. Big turn of events from what we’ve seen so far this season. Hats off to Coach Morris and company for pulling the Aces off the mat and responding. Huge win for their season!

Great job, Aces.

Most surprising score of the night.

That's the Offense we have been waiting to see from this OCath team.

This looked like a totally different Aces team. They lost the turnover battle and had more penalty yards and missed opportunities in Red zone but still found a way to win. They simply ran it down Owensboro's throat in the 4th quarter. It was great to see that coming from an OC fan. Hopefully this team can get on a roll. Will have another emotional game this week against South Spencer and former Coach John Edge. Not taking anything away from OHS, they are a very good football team but I think you saw what alot of people thought this OC team is capable of.

Completely stunned at this one!

First and foremost, congratulations to Coach Morris and the Aces players! Absolutely HUGE WIN! Think about the value of this game going forward after getting blasted at EMemorial. This is a team that can make some noise. Can they beat Mayfield? I don't know, but they will give them everything they have and after last night, that's pretty dang good!

For Owensboro, will be a tough week of practice after this very difficult loss and knowing the Purples are coming to town! Wow!
