October 30, 200619 yr Author I'll take that as a "you're right." Take it however you want. It's the same game plan, and what would be considered a much better D. Vick was on, and they were torched. When a team runs for 220 yards and 5.7 ypc on the season, you do all you can to stop it. If that means you make him beat you with his arm, so be it...
October 30, 200619 yr I have never seen such an uproar from a teams' fan base when they are 4-3. The Bengals have been good ONE year in the past like 16 years, holy moley they are a team that is still developing and missing some key players at key positions. Injuries HURT a team's chances at success.. it's not just the injuries but that is apart of it. You guys want to trade the Bengals record with the Browns record? I'm down... Everyone take a deep breath

When a team runs for 220 yards and 5.7 ypc on the season, you do all you can to stop it. If that means you make him beat you with his arm, so be it... Here's what would be considered a much better D: knock down a pass every once in a while, don't fall down when the ball is coming at you, keep Vick contained and don't get sucked in, don't give up 29 points. The Bengals D cannot MAKE PLAYS. Unlike last season when qb's were dropping balls into their arms by making stupid passes, they are being smart this year and proving that the Bengals D is not where it needs to be. I have a lot of faith in the POTENTIAL of Joseph. I'm losing faith in #24 and , as you know, #20 is simply horrible. That's not very comforting.

Everyone take a deep breath If you're still happy because they don't suck like they did in the 90s, fine. Many have , instead, raised the bar higher . There are a handful of teams that can win the Super Bowl. The Bengals are in that group. With that as the bar, they have underachieved this season. 4-3 is not acceptable especially when one of the 4 was gift-wrapped by Big Ben, they were manhandled by the Pats at home, and they let a qb with a 76 qb rating destroy them. I would suggest we move past the stage of "Marvin's great. We don't suck anymore. Who-dey!" and start expecting the results of a potential championship team.
October 30, 200619 yr Several of Palmers passes have been off target not only in this game but the past few. O'neil looked Lethargic. The defense was inept. The offensive line could be better. No better than 8-8 this season ....9-7 if lucky

Everyone take a deep breath I wouldn't call it an uproar especially since most of this is because of injuries. If the Bengals don't make the playoffs this season is not going to be a success.

Everyone take a deep breath What do you expect us to be ok with losing. We are used to that and now we are expecting them to win and when they don't were gonna talk about it. I still they will be ok. I don't think everyone is jumping off the wagon yet. There is no reason to. Vick was just flat out awesome and they probably would have beat almost any team playing like that.

No better than 8-8 this season ....9-7 if lucky Palmer has missed a few passes, but alot of those miss passes have came when a guy has been in his face and he still makes the throw to try to make something happen. He just had a passing rating over 100 and yet still people are complaining about him...People you got to realize he is not going to do as great as last year right now, because last year he was being protected and actually had some time to throw the ball. He hasn't had that really this year, so yeah your going to be off on some passes. Palmer is hardly the reason at all for the Bengals troubles. Was you still believeing that they would go no better than 8 and 8 after last weeks win against the Panthers? And now we lose to a very good Falcoms team and now all of a sudden we aren't that good anymore...The Bengals will be fine, its just kind of funny how many people want to seem to give this season up after a loss now....

October 31, 200619 yr I hope they are on NFL Replay this week. I have a theory I need to clarify... The answer is NO.
October 31, 200619 yr Author The answer is NO. There is a tell on passes to the left. Maybe it's Whit. Maybe it's ES. Maybe it's EG. I need to figure it out, but on throws to the left, there is always a gap exploited. On throws to the right, it's clean as day...

October 31, 200619 yr 27 points would say the offense was fine. 29 points is where the blame should lie. When you play against players like Vick and P. Manning and their on the field twice as much as your O is, thats not good. Time of possesion is huge!! By only running the ball 18 times as a team, sure isn't gonna help in that department. Period
