October 30, 200619 yr Did anyone wonder why they threw to the TE with 19 seconds left? That accomplished nothing. Throw it deep one time, get OOB or get up there and spike it. All they needed was a FG and we ran a 5 yard out to the TE.
October 30, 200619 yr The pass D was soft because they sold out to stop the run. It was the right game plan, and the one teams have been using on Vick since he came into the league. When he does what he did yesterday, there isn't a D in the NFL that can stop him... I'll disagree. Our dbs helped the cause greatly. He took advantage of poor coverage or poor reads by the DBs. In some cases, he was unstoppable but a good/decent defensive performance results in a W. Tory falling down is quite emblematic of where he is as a DB.

And they won TOP 37:08 to 22:52 as a result... Unless there were fluke plays , like TOs deep in your own zone, you can never say a D played a solid game when they gave up 29 points. Your last 3 points only support my belief that it was not a "solid" performance.
