Just looking at the first round, some interesting matchups just jump out at me.

Just looking at Class 2A, here are 3 games that I am looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

Sheldon Clark vs Prestonsburg. Pburg shocked the Cards in overtime the first time out. Sheldon Clark is likely the best 3 seed in recent memory. Not sure how Pburg pulled it off, but can they do it again? The winner of this one gets to travel to Belfry.

Breathitt County vs Leslie Co. Great rematch from a few weeks ago that was a pretty close game won on big plays. Winner gets to go back to Middlesboro.

Trigg Co vs Ft Campbell. Another 3/2 seed matchup that looks great on paper. The first game was a long time ago and many thought Trigg was the favorite going in. Can they "upset" Ft Campbell the 2nd time around? Winner gets to go to Caldwell Co for the anticipated District Championship.

I'm sure there are lots of good matchups in all classes. What games are you looking forward to and why?

Franklin County at East Jessamine will be one of the best first round match-ups.

In NKY.

Campbell Co vs. Boone Co

Dixie vs. Ryle

NCC vs. Holy Cross

Highlands vs. CovCath- 2nd round

A couple of possible interesting matcup in a #1 versus #4 will be Christian County taking on Marshall County. These two teams played a few weeks ago with Christian County coming away with a hard fought win. Could be a interesting first round matchup.

Do you have a link for the brackets?

THey dont play unless both win out

Marshall Co. @ WC

Graves @ Christian Co.

My fault...my eyes are still crossed from the wind and rain last night...thanks

Ashland and Mason Co. played a very close contest in Maysville the first two times these teams met. I look for another good game when they play next weekend.

Holy Cross @ Bethlehem will be a good ballgame in Class A

GRC and Montgomery Co. I havent checked this morning but Im pretty sure they play. MOntgomery has had a playoff dry spell and its not like these 2 schools like eachother.

That would be a good one, but Marshall plays at Warren Central and Graves plays at Christian

I think the Webster at Caldwell game could be interesting...Caldwell isn't playing very well these last few weeks and Webster has been strong to end the season....This could be the Upset Special of the Week..

Henry Clay and Scott Co. both in the top 20 in the state in the first round that's a game normally for the regional title not in the first round.

I like the 1A matchup between 4. McLean Co and 1. Metcalfe Co..... McLean recently beat Metcalfe. The 2/3 between Holy Cross and NCC stands out as well. Harlan vs. Williamsburg

SC/Pburg is the most notable to me in 2A, we also can't forget 3. Washington Co. vs. 2. Larue County...

In 3A, I'll stick with the poster who said Franklin Co. vs. East Jessamine.. the Lousivlle district may get interesting after Doss took down Central.

4A... Any of those games from the distirct with Graves, Marshall, Warren Central, and Christian Co.
