Darren Hollenkamp is LB/FB for DeSales. He is a strong, tough, and good kid. My son played with him at SSM. He will be a key on D.

 

Logan Davis is back up RB at X and I’m impressed at how hard he runs.

So if I’m reading this correctly, DeSales had a quality RB last year that now plays at Butler. How is he eligible to play since he played last year and transferred to Butler?

Because transferring from private to public you can claim tuition was financial hardship or maybe he moved closer to Butler. You really don’t see to many transfers made to sit out by KHSAA. Probably hard to prove a transfer is just for athletic reasons.

If on the slim chance a player is ruled ineligible, the parents go to court and get it overturned. The player who left DeSales for Butler is a Divsion 1 recruit. He will be a junior this coming season.

From my understanding. He was a academic casualty at DeSales. So I don't think he'll be eligible to play at Butler this season.

Found out injured non throwing hand. So I’m not sure of status.

The backup QB Doug Bodhaine’s hudl higlights show a lot of runs. He had a nice TD pass under pressure in SK scrimmage though.

Horrible news...

In football it is always next man up. Usually the guy playing backup thinks he should be the starter anyway. Now, he has a chance to prove it.
