Going back to Tom Herman, if he knew and did nothing when he was at OSU, shouldn’t he be reprimanded for lying last week to Texas media?

It’s a slippery slope basing info off text or screenshots. Which one of her phones was this from? Did her carrier corroborate it? Why is her now estranged mom, backing ZS in some instances?

 

The rules of evidence have developed over the last 800 years, if we’re gonna take someone’s job, reputation, freedom, not just ZS, anyone, shouldn’t it be corroborated?

 

Sure it should be, has he came out and said the text wasn't factual? It will/would be easy enough to prove if it didn't take place. But something must have happened, remember Urban reported it in 2015. Urban must have believed something happened or why would he have reported it to his bosses?

 

I didn't know she and her mom were estranged, that makes sense why the mom doesn't have her daughter's back then.

If Urban Meyer is telling the truth (and we don't have proof that he's lying) about reporting it, in 2015, then whomever he reported it too or was put in charge of the investigation should be fired. If the school never contacted the alleged victim of DV by one of their coaches then someone in the loop of that investigation dropped the ball.

 

Urban will not and should not lose his job if he did report it in 2015. Was it poor choice keeping ZS if he thought he was beating his wife, yep. If he reported it though that is Urban's get out of jail free card...someone above him dropped the ball.

Problem is on 8/2 he just told media he had no knowledge of it. My understanding is his wife and CS were close and that’s probably why BM is not sharing text from “other coaches” if he has them. He possibly didn’t want to out his source.

The lawyers I have spoken with said text and screenshots can be cut up and manipulated and are hard to admit in court. If they’re corroborated by the carrier (Sprint, T-Mobile) whoever, then that’s a different story. CS’s text have not been.

OSU reached out to the Powell PD but Powell would not release info on someone not charged. They cited an Ohio statute stating they didn’t have too.

It wouldn't be witness tampering if there were no charges filed. They absolutely should have spoken with her...no reason not to, if they wanted to find out what happened. I could see them using that excuse if they really didn't want to know what was going on and want deniability later if it came out.

To me it’s a bombshell report that Tom Herman and his wife (admitted) were giving CS money for whatever legal purposes.

Why didn't he continue to stand behind and support his Assistant Coach, whom as far as he knew the Universtiy had already investigated and allowed to continue to coach?

This whole situation is one giant soap opera.
