KD has agreed to a two year contract at Golden State with a player option after next season.

 

Absolutely. Draymond and Klay are eligible for their max contracts after next season. Golden State can’t pay all four superstars max contracts without paying a huge luxury tax penalty. Their run could come to an end sooner rather than later.

The NBA is such a unique sport in the sense that it’s the only team sport where people are fans of players instead of teams, myself included. I don’t give a damn about the Cavs, Heat, and Lakers I just care where Lebron is. Where he goes, I go. Let’s Go!

That is interesting. Not that either of these two can stop LeBron, but both of these players have earned his respect by at least making him think and give effort against him. Not sure how Lance fits in with LeBron. Besides in Indiana, Lance has been a G-League type talent. Javele I think can fit in well.

The Spurs can’t afford for Kawhi to not play this year. Kawhi will be fine. The dude doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle at all. He holds all the cards. If the Spurs hold on to him and he doesn’t play then they get nothing for him. Kawhi clearly only wants to play for the Lakers so at this point I don’t think Boston has any leverage because why would they give up Kyrie for only one year of Kawhi? Makes no sense. I’d be truly shocked if Kawhi doesn’t end up in LA.

I think he will end up there as well, but there is not a rush on it. The Lakers are saying they are not giving up Kuzma and other assets so you might as well wait until LA struggles out of the gate and then make the move.

 

I also am with you on Leonard not needing a lavish lifestyle and enjoys being under the radar, which is why it has shocked me he wants to go to LA and be the LeBron scapegoat. His uncle, by all accounts, is the one now orchestrating Leonard's career.

If I am a team another contending team I attempt to get Leonard in a trade and roll the dice he doesn't want to leave next off-season.
