Suggesting Heroin and Marijuana are even in the same Universe is silly.

"Not to mention we are supposed to be Free in America"

Who said this quote?

I don't think either should be legal. If we found a way to test for Marijuana to determine DUI limits, I might be Ok with the idea.

I believe it is impossible to justify alcohol being legal and not weed.

How much weed do you need to consume to be too 'high' to dirve?

Do you think alcohol should be illegal?

Yes, but driving over .08 should not be.

If we are going to get technical about it, it is a sliding scale, just like it is with alcohol, which means it is impossible to be fair to everyone.

Seriously, so your argument is the 99.98% of people that would never "drive while high" are out of luck because of the .02% that would do it?

Also out of luck are people that are serving life in prison for non-violent pot offenses. Life. For $20 of pot. How much is a good bottle of Woodford Reserve?

Do you think the number of drinkers who drive legally impaired, or "drunk" is .02%? I'd say it's much much much much higher, as would it be people driving high. How did you arrive at that #?

In 2016 there were about 222,000,000 people with licences. There were roughly 1,000,000 DUI arrests.

And probably another 20,000,000 that didn't get caught (or more).

Yes, but driving over .08 should not be.

How can both of those things happen?

That's your assumption and no way to back it up. If you want to look at things logically you have to look at the facts we have.

I was drinking but I wasn't blindfolded at all the parties I attended in past days.

How can both of those things happen?

You should be allow to drink (alcohol be legal) but it should be illegal to drive if your BA is over .08. Does that make it clearer for you? The question was reversed.

So what is that sliding scale for pot? I've yet to see a weedolizor that you blow into to indicate how high you are. While I agree alcohol is not fair, some can fully function at 1.2 while others struggle at .06.

I don't see where your bold point is any different for Pot than it is for Alcohol.

The # he spit out is assumption, the FACT is though many more drunk drivers don't get pulled over than do. Now exactly how many that # is is debateable.
