Kentucky State Police investigating shooting involving Erlanger Police

"Officers from the Erlanger Police Department were involved in a shooting outside of Peecox Bar and Grill," state trooper Charles Loudermilk announced around 11:30 p.m.

 

Law enforcement arrived at the bar around 9 p.m.; at least one person was airlifted from the scene to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

From some chatter on Facebook I don't believe any officers were injured.

 

Beyond that no one appears to have any meaningful information yet.

Video I seen the guy was laying in the hotel parking lot. I heard he pulled a gun and had a warrant.

According to article, guy had a felony warrant and fled the bar when police arrived and pulled a gun.

I've always thought the name of that place should have been "Peecox Knife and Gun club".

I went to that place once, when I was really young. We narrowly avoided a fight, and that was hard to do for my bunch in those days. Never saw no need to go back.

Where its situated, it's the only bar within eye sight of 4 hotels. 2 of them are rather cheap, the type you find people living in often. Needless to say it's got a unique clientele for the area it's in. Not to mention the locals that frequent it.
