April 20, 20188 yr A hundred views for this. Almost 1500 on the thread baselessly claiming racism in Starbucks for 2 guys trespassing. Wish I could say I’m surprised...but I’m not. Overreaction. What is there to say in this case other than how sad and disgusting it is?
April 20, 20188 yr Overreaction. What is there to say in this case other than how sad and disgusting it is? That’s your perspective.
April 20, 20188 yr Wish I could say I'm surprised that someone who isn't a minority would call a claim of racism baseless, but I'm not. It’s funny how I’m not allowed to have an opinion on topics involving race. Was it racism when the police were denied the bathroom? For Pete’s sake, the company has a policy and the cops were called and the the 2 guys still refused to leave. Yet, the manager and the cops are racist. I don’t know why every time someone doesn’t get their way, it’s always because of a bias.
April 20, 20188 yr Author Hey everyone there is an entire thread to discuss the Starbucks mess, let's leave this thread on topic.
April 20, 20188 yr Absolutely heartbreaking. Why can't this hatred and evil stop?! Agreed. How terrible for the families of these officers.
April 21, 20188 yr That’s your perspective. The first was my perspective. The 2nd was a question that I'll ask again: What else is there to post other than how terrible it is?
April 21, 20188 yr No words to describe how awful this is. Can’t wrap my head around things like this happening.
April 21, 20188 yr Author The first was my perspective. The 2nd was a question that I'll ask again: What else is there to post other than how terrible it is? Discussion on why people do this and why these types of attacks have seemed to increase the past few years? What could be done to prevent it? Did anyone see the man walk up with the gun and just watch instead of warning the officers? The sacrifices that officers make each year? There are several points that could be discussed but they never are...as many have the attitude, "This is what they signed up for."

I don’t see much contribution from anybody in this thread...

Anyone that does something like this has a heart problem, and those are incredibly difficult to fix.

April 21, 20188 yr Author I don’t think your last line is true at all. I think people have actually posted that on here before. Go to some of the facebook posts where an officer has died and someone will almost always say that. While it is an assinine comment or belief, there are people that actually feel that way.
