MJAlltheWay24
I could go on our work tickets had the game still been Thursday. But now that it is Friday, and last day of the month, no one in the company can go. Blame the MLB for moving Opening Day to Thursday, not the Reds. MJAlltheWay24
Not much you can do about the rain. I'd be happy they gave this much notice. Exactly. They are damned if they do, damned if they don't. If they make people stand around for hours and wind up not playing, Opening Day is ruined. I think they made the right decision. It's what the extra day is for. Just Hangin Around
Not even close. There were plenty of times Dusty was legitimately to blame. Exactly and how long did he last in Washington with all that talent?
HammerTime
Exactly and how long did he last in Washington with all that talent? Joel Luckhaupt @jluckhaupt Since 2000, 16 managers have won 90+ games and not returned to the team the next season. 3 of those have been Dusty Baker (2002 SF, 2013 CIN, 2017 WAS). Makes you wonder doesn't it.

jpa2825
Agree with you somewhat. You guys realize that the none of the 3 pitchers the Reds got for Cueto are on the MLB roster for opening day this year. None of them. That trade has turned out to be a big failure. How about Robert Stephenson, remember him, highly touted prospect, the next big pitcher, wait hes not on the roster either.......... Pitchers get injured, part of the game, but why do they stay injured on the Reds, for years at a time........ Finnegan appears to be on the 25 man roster and @HammerTime says Reed is starting on TUE (although not 1 of the 13 Ps currently listed on the 25 man roster?). That said, your overall point that the 3 Ps acquired from KC have "underwhelmed" is accurate.

Reds finalize roster for Opening Day - Red Reporter Only thing I don't get is Gosselin and Pennington. They are the same crappy player. No need to take up two bench spots with them IMO. HammerTime
Reed would not be starting if they had not moved opening day. Yep, they wouldn't have needed a 5th starter for a bit and Finnegan would have been ready at that point.
