October 22, 200620 yr I am talking about different traditions at schools that involve the teams/traditions before (or after) their game. Mine would be "Howard's Rock at Clemson - if your not going to give 110% then keep your filthy hands of my Rock!!", War eagle at Auburn, Script Ohio and the dotting of the i at Ohio State, "play like a champion today and Notre Dame", The Buckeye football team joining in the singing of the alma mater after the game at Ohio Stadium. I am sure that there are more good ones that I am overlooking so what if any are everyones opinion on theirs?
October 22, 200620 yr What is not to love about Kentucky's tradition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? Generations of Big Blue Fiathful have been able to share in the collective pain of last minute losses to Flrida, LSU, and a variety of other upper crust SEC teams on the gridiron. :thumb: In all honestly my favorite traditions are with Notre Dame. The walk to the stadium with the throngs of fans, Touchdown Jesus, the legendary ghosts the inhabit the hallowed ground in South Bend. Gives me chills and I am not even a big Notre Dame fan.

October 22, 200619 yr Touchdown Jesus and Play like a Champion today. Gotta Love the IRISH Not me. There's only a few schools I absoutely cannot cheer for under any condition, and Notre Dame is one of them. As is Duke.
October 23, 200619 yr The Ole Miss walk through the Grove ND singing the alma mater after the game Everything re: the Army-Navy game The NU and UT traditional helmets The ND and UM fight songs SEC
October 23, 200619 yr Author Touchdown Jesus and Play like a Champion today. Gotta Love the IRISH I do not love the Irish at all but I do have to say the tradition around that place is unmatched. "Rudi" is still one of my favorite films!:thumb:
October 23, 200619 yr Author Along with War Eagle at Auburn the "Tiger Walk" is also great. I still think that I like the "dotting of the i " and "script Ohio" at Ohio State and "Howards Rock" at Clemson the best thoough.

October 23, 200619 yr The tunnel walk at Nebraska. Everybody gets to there seats early enough to not miss it. I also like how the fans at Nebraska stand and applaud the away team after the game (win or lose) when they walk off the field. In 98 after NU lost to Texas, the fans stood and cheered an chanted "Heisman" as Ricky Williams left the field. Best fans in College football without a doubt.

I hope you keep it! :thumb: When the Notre dame band comes out of that tunnel before the game and those 6-4"+ guys high stepping and fist pumping out front as they fan out and they take the field and start the fight song you know you are in football heaven.
