WVU 45-43.

Brohm leads a last minute drive and U of L's kicker hits the upright on a 49 yd field goal to give the Cards their 1st loss.

Brohm has 350 yards passing, Slayton has over 200 yards rushing in the game.

I already have my black outfit ready and a DD to get us home safe!

I really wouldn't feel comfortable with saying Art Carmody would have a miss for the loss.

Can you say B-R-O-H-M. FRANCHISE player...He needs to carry UofL to Victory. He is the man and he is supposed to will us to win this game.

Go Cards

Tickets in my section are going for $1900 a pair, I dont care if they were $100,000 I would not miss this one for the world.

Now for the game, I think Bobby Petrino has been playing really conservative since the Miami game. I think he's going to open up the playbook against West Virginia. I'll take Louisville by 7.

I wonder how much they are in my section...

Sec. 129, Row S....

I'll pay $$$0 and have the best seat in the house........my bigscreen  :D

Football is THE sport where it is better to be at the game, IMO, than on TV.

Nice.

Heard Lee Corso talking this weekend and his view was that if Florida/Auburn was in the Big East, they would finish the season undefeated. UL/WVU in the SEC and they are not undefeated at this point of the season.

That and .37 cents will buy you a stamp...it's not that way, so who cares.

I agree. I have never followed the "vanilla game plan" logic... which always comes after a non-impressive win.

It happens a lot, especially in the college game.

Is Brohm 100%? And, if he is, how sharp is he right now?

Excluding the INT...I thought Brian looked very, VERY sharp against the 'Cuse.

Brohm physically is about 98%. He'll be 100% well before next Thursday. It's mental rust that needs to be cleared for him to be fine, and except for one VERY HORRIBLE THROW last week, I would have said it was done with.

This is NOT the game we'll miss Bush for, btw. That was Miami. No matter how bad their offense is they still have a pretty good defense, and not having Bush to run straight at them hurt us early. If we'd had Bush, that game might have gotten out of hand. Against WVU, I think we'll be able to establish our running game well enough with the backs we have. Especially with Kolby running a little more north and south like he was last week.

I don't worry about our defense in this one. Louisville's front seven (and safties) are playing the run well enough that WVU isn't going to run all over us, I don't care if they can spread us out from 65 to the Watterson. Our passing defense is our weakness, and WVU can't exploit it.

What does worry me are the dropped passes. We have to catch those balls.

As always an excellent post...from what I have been hearing they are not even 100% concerned in STOPPING the run...WVU is very good and will be getting their yards. U of L will want to make WVU go 10-13 plays on every drive, to score. Field position will be a must. If U of L goes up early, and WVU is having to methodically drive the ball to score, it will make them antsy.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't put my money against Carmody.

CARMODY FOR HEISMAN!!!

CARMODY FOR HEISMAN!!!

I've been saying that for weeks...

And how often is Corso right. How about never. If any team in the SEC could go undefeated in the Big East I think it would be LSU. Neither Florida nor Auburn could do it.
