Tennessee 16 Alabama 13

Featured Replies

Much closer than I thought. Looked like the Ainge from last year out there.

Props to Bama's D though, they looked great out there.

That was a tough one! I thought Joe Kines had the defense well prepared today! But I thought the o line struggled as well as Darby...and Keith Brown really could have helped out the passing game by freeing up D.J. Although Hall made an unbelieveable catch with 3 guys on him, it was almost Prothro like, catching it behind the head of a UT player. It is a sad day here at the house, cause I'm hearing it about and I am sure I'll be hearing about it for a while....Oh well atleast someone is celebrating tonight!

I thought this game was very similar to last year... The home team that was ranked in the top ten beat the unranked team by a field goal.

Much closer than I thought.

:thumb: :thumb: I wanted BAMA to pull out a win at Rotten Flop soooooooooooo Bad!

Although I do not care much for Tennessee football I have to give them their due. They have a pretty good football team!! and are tough to beat each week.

Game got over around 7 and I've sitting on my deck by myself for a few hours. Momma comes out and says "honey come on in its gonna be OK" I said "maybe later". She said "well could you at least stain the steps"? Castille CUT BACK! CUT BACK! Ky...Thanks I needed that.

I was wrong, but it was an excellent game.

I was thinking the same thing...Ainge did throw 3 picks, but made a great touchdown saving tackle that ended up meaning the difference in the game. Like I had said before, I figured the Vols would turn the ball over, but the Tiders just couldn't capitalize! Well we still should at least finish 7-5, but a 8-4 record would make the world a better place!!! I thought it was a great game and even though my boys lost, I enjoyed watching the big hits and overall intensity that both teams showed! You just can't say enough about Joe Kines and that Defense. Roll Tide Roll!!!

We hold the vols and we are up 4 with the ball on our 24 and there is 5:23 left. Three first downs and its over, and thats sad. But like I've said before and on Tidefans "sometimes you have to give the other team credit". The sun came up!

I was not that suprised by the outcome. Alabama is the ultimate play to their competition team... both this year and last year.

"We had them on the hook...and let them go". Coach Dennis Green

The O line did struggle for both teams. The crowd was deafening but they were also about the rudest crowd I have been around at any game. Its pretty sad when you have people apoligizing to you for how the crowd around us acted.

How safe is Shula's job? I think he and Phil may have changed positions on the hot seat. Phil is off and Mike is on.

What's up with Alabama? They give Florida and UT all they can handle, then barely beat teams like Duke...
