October 23, 200619 yr Phil is off and Mike is on. Unless Phil loses 2 more games this season. He's got LSU at Neyland at Arkansas on the road.
October 23, 200619 yr What's up with Alabama? They give Florida and UT all they can handle, then barely beat teams like Duke... Classic case of playing to the level of their competition.
October 23, 200619 yr How safe is Shula's job? I think he and Phil may have changed positions on the hot seat. Phil is off and Mike is on. If he can beat either LSU or Auburn and win his bowl game, he is safe with a 9-4 record. If he loses all 3 of those he may be on the hot seat with a 7-6 finish. My personal opinion, I think they should stick with him.
October 23, 200619 yr What Ky said...This team is so young. Our RBs are seniors but thats it. He has had the last two years really good recruiting years. We know he won't be chasing other women (not there really isn't wrong with that if you are single). The fans may get some things started here and there but the Powers to be are the ones who make that decision and he is not going anywhere. The seat will always be warm at Bama. Now I will say this if we beat the WarTigers he could get another contract extension.
October 25, 200619 yr Alabama has a great D...their offense is struggling right now with a young QB...as someone said earlier the shoe has switched feet with TN and Bama. Last year UT's offense was a joke, defense was great, and they played to their competition. Now it seems that Bama is suffering the same fate.
November 2, 200619 yr I wasn't suggesting they would not make a bowl...just the fact that it seems to me they are losing some games that they "should/could" win...Just like last years rendition of the Vols...Thank God KY was dumb enough to hire Sanders.
