Dragons send W-V home in the first round for the second straight year

South Oldham takes on Anderson Co. Monday at 6:30.

I knew Coach Simpson from his Lincoln Co Days back in early 2000s. What he has done at South is just incredible. Built a dynasty, and fun basketball to watch them play with the 3 ball

WV had a fine season, wish we could have witnessed a trilogy.

Great game, lot of fun to watch. Neither team backed down.

 

Even after South blew open to a 17 point lead, the Bearcats kept coming back, ultimately pulling to within two late in the game.

 

But four missed free throws late were critical at stemming Walton's rally, and South - a tremendous FT shooting team at over 70% on the season - put away the game at the line late.

 

Devin Young with 25 for South and Luke Morrison with 22. All 65 South points came from the five starters.
