The Cardinals will win to avenge the 1968 World Series. One of the most traumatic events that happened in my youth!!

Tigers in four, I hope. Lets get this thing over with, so we can get back to football.

Verlander is the game 1 starter for Detroit.

Followed by Rogers, Robertson, and Bonderman. Anyone else surprised?

I like the Tigers in 5.:thumb:

Tigers in 5. Can't wait to see Zumaya when the adrenaline's flowing...

Cards in 6

WKY is big Cards Country

Even with the opening game loss.......Tigers in 6. If there is anyone in baseball to get a team to forget the opening game loss and concentrate on the rest of the series it is Jim Leyland! Leyland is as good as there is in MLB. I was pulling for and predicted my Yankees all the way and now I am 100% behind the Tigers in this series. Certainly not Abner Larussa :irked: (the man who invented baseball) and his tweetie birds. I think that it would be safe to say that I don't really care for Larussa and the Cards.

Cardinals out played the Tigers in game #1, in every phase of the game. Sometimes that week layoff, can hurt more than it helps.

Big, big statement when the two quiet bats were unleased in the first two innings by the Cardinals. Rolen with the solo shot and Pujols with the 2-run shot. The rest keep playing as they are and those two wake up and it will be a short series for the Tigers.
