Also never heard of it. That being said, I wouldn’t mind trying it. Might need to be dipped in chocolate.

If you get a wild hair and decide to whip up a batch, I'd be willing to set aside my disdain for Beechwood and volunteer my taste buds.

Had to ask my better half what they were. She knew and said they were pretty good. Although to be fair, she also likes potted meat.

If you like Peanutbutter you will like these, if you love Peanutbutter you will lover these.

We used to have them as a treat in school maybe once a month when I was in elementary school. These things are frickin' delicious. My wife had never had them either but after I talked about them so much she found the recipe years ago and made me a batch. If they are taken to a Christmas Party or any kind of gathering, they are usually the first dessert/treat to be gone.

They are 100X better than Rice Krispy Treats.

Never heard of it. Sounds awful.

You may have never been more wrong in your life :lol2:

Hahaha! You are on! I googled the recipe after posting and I think I may be onto something. Chocolate ALWAYS makes things better!

I’m in the camp that’s never heard of it.

It looks like the kind of homemade good where I’d eat too much of it, then have to come up with an elaborate lie as to what happened to all of it.

PRO TIP:

Kellogg's Corn Flakes are a must, it makes a big difference.

Use your preferred peanut butter also, using a cheap PB unless you already like it isn't worth the money savings.

Our Version

1 cup Karo Syrup

1 cup sugar

1 cup peanut butter

6 cups cornflakes

On medium heat dissolve syrup and sugar then add peanut butter

Pour over the 6 cups of cornflakes in a large bowl and then stir until completely coated.

Spoon small amounts on to parchment paper..let cool if you can!

I don't know that I've agreed with anything on this site more than this statement. Happy baking!

While I don't like peanut butter as a general rule, I like peanut butter when it's repurposed. This is one of those. However, they aren't done right unless you have the red hot candies as part of them.

And they are 1000X better than Rice Krispies treats.

Our lunchroom ladies also made them for us. Also a fudge made with american ( commodity) cheese. I will have to try and find the recipe for it.
