Congrats to Baker Mayfield. He is 'just' a pocket passer - but an outstanding one. Congrats to Love as well. An outstanding running back.

 

Not sure how Love ended up ahead of Jackson but so be it. They noted Love had an amazing stat of over 8 yards per carry. But so did non-running back Lamar Jackson. It was interesting to see that stat noted as a differentiation in Love's favor.

Yes, Mayfield is the only QB who could go into Death Valley and win.

If he could go into Death Valley with Louisville's team and beat Clemson, then winning the national Championship with Sooners should be no problem. We shall see. Oh, by the way, OU is a bit better than the Cards, Quite a bit.

Umm peruse some Buckeye fan sites. I promise you I am in the small minority that actually like Baker Mayfield. I liked Baker last year when OSU embarrassed OU on their home field. He's been one of the 3 best QB's in the country every year he has been at OU and this year he was the best QB in the country. I think this was just a poor attempt to take a shot at me and other Buckeye fans.
