In your opinion, who takes home Player of the Week honors in the 10th Region for week 1?

Dontaie Allen (Pendleton County, 3 games) - 28 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 69% FG's, 86.7% FT's

Brennan Canada (George Rogers Clark, 2 games) - 14 ppg, 10.5 rpg

Leevi Dunaway (Mason County, 2 games) - 18 ppg, 50% 3pt FG's, 90% FT's

Eric Johnson (Paris, 2 games) - 24 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 55.2% FG's, 44.4% 3pt FG's

Spencer Morris (Nicholas County, 2 games) - 21 ppg, 10 rpg, 58.3% FG's

Titus Ransom (Bourbon County, 1 game) - 20 ppg, 15 rpg, 50% 3pt FG's, 85.7% FT's

Is there is someone else other than the five I've listed, please vote for "other" and let us know why you would vote for that individual. I don't know all the results, particularly from the Scott guys.

Let's hear what you think!

I don't think you can go wrong with either Allen or Johnson, but I would give an edge to Dontaie Allen.

I forgot to add "Other," so hopefully a staff member can take care of that for me. My apologies.

Trey Deaton had a great game against Williamstown. 20 pts, 20 reb, 5 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk

Hard for me to vote anyone other than Dontaie without having seen them. The young man appears well on his way to another standout season.

That's not to say those are unimpressive lines from the rest of the field. Lots of talent sprinkled throughout the 8/9/10.

Tanner Clos is averaging 14 ppg, 5 rpg and shooting 67% from the field so far this season.

Exactly what I was thinking. Either one I can’t argue with.

I would pick Allen too. Looking forward to listening and see how he does against GRC this Friday.

RP thanks for doing this. Hope you will do this each week.:thumb:

I have a gut feeling that both young men might garner this prestigious award on multiple occasions this season.

It was a spur of the moment thing, but I do like giving credit where it's due.

No doubt. Both are really fun to watch.

Same here my friend. Have said it many times. Doesn't matter what jersey they wear.

Ez Eric Johnson is the best player in the region...Allen is a baller but I gotta go w the guy who has the better team.
