October 12, 200619 yr ^I woudln't count of ANY of those things happening. Well maybe the Ravens losing. I'll check back on Tuesday with you and we'll see, that's why they play the games. BTW, did I say the Steelers would win by 2 touchdowns already?
October 12, 200619 yr I'll check back on Tuesday with you and we'll see, that's why they play the games. BTW, did I say the Steelers would win by 2 touchdowns already? I'm writing it down right now. Bengals win, Steelers and Ravens lose.
October 12, 200619 yr I'm writing it down right now. Bengals win, Steelers and Ravens lose. Hope you wrote it in pencil!
October 12, 200619 yr Here's a question, will Ben throw a touchdown? Should Charlie Batch be starting, for now?
October 12, 200619 yr Actually heard Theisman hacking on Ben on Cowherd's show, so I like the Steelers chances even more. That's almost as much a guarantee of good play as HSSB's avatar is a curse!
October 12, 200619 yr I don't think the Chiefs' defense can force any team into anything, except maybe a breakout offensive game. And I'm pretty sure the Steeler defense can stop a one-dimensional KC attack. Steelers win 17-7. You might want to check your stats Schue. The Chiefs defense is near the top in the league. They held a good offense in San Fran to uuhhh, yeah that's right 0. I don't care what team you are playing if you shut them out then you are doing something. As far as one dimensional goes, and I assume you mean the run game. The Chiefs went the entire game last week with out a rushing 1st down. The first time in franchise history. If Porter and Townsend are out, this game will be ugly for the Steelers.
October 12, 200619 yr If Porter and Townsend are out, this game will be ugly for the Steelers. They did just sign Chad Brown, so they should be alright...
October 12, 200619 yr I would be shocked if the Steelers lost... ...and I'd be shocked if they won this game.
October 12, 200619 yr ...and I'd be shocked if they won this game. For once I hope you're right and I'm wrong. We'll see...
October 12, 200619 yr They did just sign Chad Brown, so they should be alright... Again? Didn't he play in Pittsburg in the early 90's?
October 12, 200619 yr ...and I'd be shocked if they won this game. Why would you be shocked. I mean with LJ being hurt there is a good chance that even if he starts the game he might not be able to finish it, and KC doesn't have really any receivers that could get open. Tony Gonzalez is the only guy that probably would be able to do anything for them if that. IMO I really think this game is the type of game that favors the Steelers dramatically, even though I do hope Im wrong though...
October 12, 200619 yr ^ L J is fine, he is going to play and play the entire game barring another freak situation. Parker and Kennison are not going to have that much of problem getting open. With LJ coming out of the back as a major threat means the line backers are going to commit to him and Gonzalez. This will favor Kennison and Parker being left with single coverage in some situations. Parker is the speed guy and Kennison will run the underneath routes and middlle. KC's recievers have not had a problem getting open at all, it's the catching it part that get's them (kennison).
