I'm really looking forward to this game. I'm going with Scott County in a tight one.

Scott's Wing-T rushing offense is deceptive, hard hitting and will absolutely lull DBs into cheating up to defend only shockingly find themselves flat footed as their WRs sprint past them for a TD throw over the top. Only throw about 6-7 times per game with 70% completions for 27 yards per catch and nearly 1 of every 3 passes completed for TDs. Crazy passing efficiency.

Ill go SC in a close one.

Wow! I just got done taking a look at Scott County and you have to be impressed. Brice Fryman and Glenn Covington seem to be among the top talent that we've have seen at the RB and WR spots. I see their offensive tackles both go over 300 lbs and their guards pull and lead most of their long runs. All of this is led by a senior quarterback Joshua Davis who seems to be freakishly accurate on his passes when they decide to run. I think they controlled the clock for over 32 minutes against Frederick Douglas. On defense, they lean on future college star ILB Berk Watts, a 6"3 205 specimen, who is only a junior. As a matter of fact, RB's Brown, Barnett, WR Covington and big DL 315 LBS Christian Carter are all juniors too. Since St Xavier ended the last game with their 4th string running back Will Ginter, all 5'6 and 140 LBS of him, it will depend alot on Jack Albers ( QB) to get started fast. Based on what I saw, you don't want to fall behind these guys-Moeller and LaSalle jumped ahead in their games against SC.

By the way, back to back semifinals and Regional Championships for St Xavier and Coach Wolford. Since soccer, cross country and golf have already set high standards this fall, football needs to play well on Friday. I am looking forward to the challenge.

Side fact- Central Hardin ( South Warren, Christian Academy) , Trinity ( St Xavier, Champagnat in FL), and St Xavier( Trinity and Central) all have 2 teams on their regular season schedule still alive in their state playoffs. Scott County does not have anyone left still alive. St Xavier had 6 teams still alive going into last weekend. They have eliminated 3 of their regular season opponents in the playoffs so far. Tough district!

The best player on Scott County team is Bryan Hudson one of the top tackles in the country has offers from several top D1 scbools Bama, Florida, LSU and Ohio State to name a few.

Scott Co runs the Wing T very well and it's difficult if not impossible to get ready for in just a week. This game is truly a tossup so I'm picking X in a close one because they are at home.

Scott Co has to do something in the passing game or else X will win by a couple of TDs. X’s run defense has been very good lately, but struggles with the pass, if Scott Co thinks they’re just going to run the Wing T all night with a lot of success they may be in for a rude awakening.

Scott county is very efficient with the pass. They will get the run game going against X and then will hit them with a bomb. It happens every game. Just watch.

All it's about right there, but most don't get that.

Depth maybe a factor. STX has 55 seniors compared to Scott Co 16. Every game except Trinity and Cincy STX, the Tigers have worn down the other team in 2nd half.
