Does this game come down to which 1st year starting qb plays the most effecient game? Neother team has lit up the score boards this year, but played very fundamentally sound defense that bends but doesnt often break. Imo, that amd special teams will be the deciding factors. Can not wait to watch this ball game tomorrow.

31 on Paintsville is a pretty good number. So the Rams offense is going pretty good at this time. Pikeville defense is playing pretty good just giving up 9 points to Hazard with Hazard having right at 360 yards of offense...

 

Pikeville can’t give that up to Raceland and win the game this week.

But 12 of those points were from back to back pick 6 ints. But the offense controlled the tempo, didnt turn the ball over and was effecient in the 1st half. Imo, though, the Rams have to keep the pedal to the metal feom here on out. This offense lives and breathes on tempo and momentum. We stumble alot when we get back on our heels. I have a feeling thats what you will see though, i dont expect us to nurse a lead this week, should we get one.

Happy Thanksgiving, Ram. Enjoy your turkey coma!

Had a great Turkey Day. Georgetown won their first playoff game last week and advanced to this week's Elite Eight in the NAIA playoffs, so the team had Thanksgiving Dinner today with their families. So, me the wife and daughter had dinner with our son and his teammates. Great time.

 

Now, if Georgetown and Raceland can win this weekend it will be very special.

Raceland had a Thanksgiving Day Team Breakfast for the Team, Coaches along with the Parents, families and any fans that wanted to attend at 9am yesterday. That was followed by a practice. All went great, with players relaxed, not uptight or nervous at all. The Rams are Confident w / respect for their opponent ....were out by noon for Thanksgiving with their family.

It's hard to predict what will happen tonight. The numbers point toward a low scoring, defensive battle, but sometimes those are the kinds of games that evolve into a series of big plays, one after another, on offense. Which defense can strike the perfect balance of playing focused, but loose? I'm going with the Raceland for two reasons. First, I always support the Rams when they're not playing Russell, and second, they're the older, more experienced team. Raceland is due for a breakthrough. There's no better time than now, no better place than at home.

Gotta go with the Rams.
