There have been few public schools live the extended success of the BG football program. The Purples lost a football game a week before Thanksgiving. Next August every team will start over with a record of 0-0. The biggest thing for BG now is not what happened last night but what happens between now and about Aug 19, 2018.

I was actually kind of worried about the Purples next week b/c of the hype of their running game. After I watched that game last night and watching or listening to CCH games all year I was no longer worried. By the way. No sarcasm here. I really think CCH would have beat Trinity this year. Not years in past nor next year..... I may have exaggerated by saying they would work them but thing their high powered offense and shut down D they would have won. For goodness sakes. They have put a running clock on all KY teams. What is the record for that?

I would say if Trinity played the ky teams on Covcath schedule they would have a running clock on every single ky team every year. Also Trinity has played teams probably better than Covcath, while Covcath has played teams that wouldn't have even been close to Trinity. The jump in talent level that Covcath would see when they played Trinity would be a huge level. While for Trinity they would have seen, played and beat teams of better talent level or at worst equal talent level of teams Trinity already beat. There would be no needing to get use to that talent level for Trinity like it would be for Covcath.. Trinity wouldn't put a running clock on Covcath, but would win by 2 or 3 scores imo. Probably a 35 to 14 type game.

 

As for this game it definitely was a shock to see Bowling Green lose. South Warren has to find away not to let Covcath jump on them early to have a chance this week.

No Offense to CovCath.. who I feel is at worst the 4th best team in KY... and maybe the 2nd best team.

 

If CovCath and Trinity played I would take the Rocks by at least 14-17 points.. most likely 17-21 points.
