Predictions on 10th Region

Featured Replies

I was thinking those guys were still around.

Yes they lost White, Clines, Schmidt, McCann and Kramer but there are several juniors that started and had a lot of varsity time last year......Verst, Franzen and Eten. This is a strong junior class that plays well as a team, something that was lacking last year. Add the seniors Dischar and Walker, with their size and good things could happen for the Camels. They will miss the scoring of White and Clines but I believe you will see a more even distribution in scoring from this group. So hopefully, if someone is off that night someone else will step up and get the job done for the men in Purple.

9. Pendleton Co.

10. Campbell Co.

How can you have Augusta rated ahead of Pendleton? Like I have said before, PC will be down but there is no way that they will finish lower than Augusta.

Augusta ranked ahead of Pendleton is a joke. Even the most anti-PC person on here can't honestly think the Wildcats will finish below Augusta. I am not trying to bash the players of Augusta, but the talent there is simply not even close to PC, even on a down year.

IMO I do think Augusta has a good chance over Pendleton they did lose some good talent........But even rankings can not decide which school is better, it depends on how the team plays against one another.

Though I will say, not to bash anyone, I think some of the talent at Augusta is Maysville worthy.

My List:

1. Maysville-Mason Co.

2. Clark Co.

3. Brossart

4. Montgomery Co.

5. Harrison Co.

6. Bourbon Co.

7. Scott

8. Augusta

The good thing is they never ran up the score (that I know of) against anybody who is good enough to run the score up on them this year (Mason, Clark).

Didn't run the score up against these teams, or couldn't??:D

Either way I wasn't a fan of it and the coach that did it is gone.

BGgreen has Brossart ever ran the score up on Mason or Clark? Who has? I am a Fan you sure don't sound like a fan of PC, all you do is bash the ex-coach who is no longer there. As for PC/Augusta chatter they play this year in December so that should settle that issue.

Doubtful, but I'm sure they've had it run up on them!! Just pointing our the obvious that PC didn't run it up on those, or Brossart for that matter, because they were too evenly matched. I think it's common knowledge that Buddy stuck with his starters, despite the score, well into the 2nd half; often to the criticism of his own fans, for not doing more to develop the bench kids. This year it may come back to bite the current group, but I think they'll be a creditable team, just not to the standards of recent years. (But then those were arguably the best years in school history--Trust me they took out some of our best in a couple of wars)

Agree with you. I guess my frustration lies with PC fans and not you BGreen. Sorry if I took it out on you. What do those people want? If he had played more bench players and it cost them some games my guess is that they would have complained about that. They had two of the best seasons ever in school history and instead of enjoying them they criticize the man for not getting them ready for this year. I think they will be fine. Maybe not 28-4 but I agree with you they will be creditable. There is a JV team for a reason. they got experience there. Plus this summer I think they played over 30 games against great competition.

The only problem I think most PC fans had with Buddy happened the year before last.He had several seniors sitting on the bench that practiced as hard and long as the rest of the starters and they would get in with a minute to go or something like that even with a 30 point lead after 3 quarters.Oh by the way BG,how about that soccer game with PC that is not a quality team like you're BB boys.BB was lucky to tie it up at the end.But a tie is better than a loss for both sides.

I would think most coaches realize that Biggs is gone. I was screaming for Kane Belcher to get minutes as a sophomore and he got nothing.

that is what fans do best scream. Coach's coach and fans scream for and sadly sometimes at their team.

My problem was with player development issues. Granted those guys should have played too.

I didn't really scream I just posted messages on BGP.

Let me tell you about Coach Biggs philosophy on taking out starters. He plays his until the other team takes theirs out. If they do that then he will take his out. Until then, its fair game.

Then how does the future of your program get any experience?
