I will give Montgomery my 3 spot.

Didn't Brossart beat Montgomery by 25 last year while only losing one starter??? Take off them Anti-Brossart shades, Brossart's in the top three, no doubt....

Mine .......coach Bart Rison proven that he can get the most of his players. They play hard for the whole game. He also has great scouting reports and knows the other teams weaknesses. Also 6-7 junior center Jordan Stephens...much improved from last season...you will remember that name come tourney time. Also Montgomery only lost one senior from last season. Last year was a rebuilding year...You will see Montgomery make some noise this season.

Both teams lost a starter. Brossart killed them last year. Troy Cooper has flat dominated 6'7" and 6'8" guys over and over again because he is so strong. His scouting report on Brossart's weaknesses must have been off last year or his players weren't playing hard the whole game. Brossart rebuilt without having a down year. The Junior class is very talented and the seniors were the Varsity team last year.

Mason should win the 10th but don't count out Brossart and GRC...very good-quality opponents

Scott wasn't very good last year and didn't they lose a lot? I could be mistaken.

Scott lost Howard and McCord, but have a very good guard tandem in Sharp and Quigley. I think they'll be pretty tough this year. I think both Scott and PC will be better than Harrison and Montgomery this year...

Last year was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Brossart last year too, and wasn't that one player that MC lost Cameron Ryals, their best player?

What does PC have other than an overrated Kane Belcher?

Scott was better than you think. They lost to state champion Jeffersontown by 4 in the last minute of the game at Jeffersontown. J-town had only a few close games last year and this was one of them.Scott lost to Brossart by two in the district finals and by two to Clark County on a last second shot in the 10th region tourny.

They did lose Howard & McCord from last year's team, but they have 3 very good scorers in Sharp, Quigley, and Miller. I think Coach Carr will play a lot more uptempo this year and these three should flourish in this style.

While he is a tad bit overrated, he's still a good frontcourt player. I think Harrison will be a good team, but didn't they lose their big guys?

Here is the Cats Pause Preseason Rankings:

1. Mason

2. GRC

3. Montgomery Co

4. Bishop Brossart

5. Harrison Co

6. Pendleton Co

7. Bourbon Co

8. Augusta

9. Scott

10 St. Patrick

When did Campbell Co leave the 10th?????

They didn't leave. They are still part of the 37th district and 10th region.

Many feel that they won't be very good this year.

While I think Campbell's best recent team was last year's version, I still believe they should be ahead of Augusta, St. Pat's, and probably Bourbon and Pendleton. They have some size and a more experienced and deep junior class. Scott at #9 is way too low!!

I agree this year's team will be much different than last year's edition. Good quick proven perimeter scorers, but lack of size will be a hinderance. If they can find someone to step up inside they will surprize some teams. No doubt they will run more, and probably try to outscore teams. I'd guess defense will be a question mark as well.

While not quite as harsh on Belcher, I think they'll be way off this year. I can see some teams extracting payback for the last few years, especially they way Coach Biggs refused to go to his bench until very late in some lopsided games!!
