Boyle County Sophomore RB/DB speedster Landen Bartleson has received his first scholarship offer via the University of Louisville.

Landen won the class 2A state championship this past spring in the 100M dash (10.9 sec) as well as making an impact on the football field. His stats to date for this season per The KHSAA site are:

99 carries 780 yds 14 TD

3 rec 28 yds 1 TD

35 tackles

1 INT, 1 int TD

2 fumble recoveries.

Congratulations Landen! This will be the first of many to come!

This will just be the first of many for this fine young man. His father Brian Miller was a state track champ in the 100 and also maybe the 200 during his prep days in the mid - late 90’s for Lincoln County as well as being a very solid QB/DB for the Patriots.

Congrats to Landen....once you get the first offer, the rest will start pouring in.

Congrats young man, and he played most of the season with a bad ankle injury his mom told me a couple weeks ago that he was about 70% with the ankle, he started looking more like his old self in the last game making cuts that he hasn't been able to make since before the Danville game.

Landen ran a 4.39 40 at Ohio State camp this past weekend.
