October 10, 200619 yr I agree with the article for the most past,read it at work yesterday. It'd be like throwing Michigan,OSU,FSU,Texas, and Oklahoma all in one league. I do like the idea of the plus one system and think it would help the SEC a good bit.

October 10, 200619 yr Not getting into this argument. However I will throw a stat out to the crowd. - to$u is 0-7 all time against the SEC. WOW!.. I never would have guessed that.. Or even dreamed it for that matter. Do you have the teams that beat them at hand? Just curious.

October 10, 200619 yr I dont think the argue here is being made that the SEC has the best team in the nation. That is a decent possibility however. But if you look at the rankings and the opinions of what most of the commentators think, you will see the SEC is the premier conference. There is just no way around it really. The Big 10 is next, and only have 3 really good teams. The Pac 10 has USC, and really no one else that great. The Big 12 has Texas and Oklahoma and thats about it. The ACC has Florida St and Miami who are way down and some decent other teams.

October 10, 200619 yr R u serious!?! :lol: I think there are a lot of good teams, but only 2 or 3 near the top. Georgia and Auburn are now on the pretender list. LSU looks good in spurts, but how good are you with 2 conference loses in three games. If you toss out the Air Force game, I could be convinced UT is in the mix. Arkansas? Maybe if the USC game was at least respectable. Florida looks good so far...

Just curious who the others are, I'll bet I can name some SEC teams that are just as good.
