SEC is too good for it's own good

Featured Replies

I see a ton of speed and athleticism in the SEC, but also see a lack of discipline in "doing your job". I see a lack of speed and athleticism in the Big 11, but also see more players that understand "how to play the game"...

I took this as something you have observed over the years.

Booger McFarland, John Abraham, sub Al Wilson in for Odell, and Brian Simmons is an UNC grad I believe. Throw in Ken Lucas the DB not the Democrat.

Jeremi Johnson is a WKU grad.

You cant come up with a better OL than I did.

Johnson spent 3 years at IU. He's clear for Big 11 consideration. If it makes you feel better, I'll build the OL in the morning when I can make sure I get it right...

Just thought I'd throw this in there:

ACC:

QB- Mike Vick or Phillip Rivers

RB- Willis McGahee

FB- Zach Crockett

WR- Reggie Wayne

WR- Santana Moss

TE- Kellan Winslow

OL- too many to chose from

Defensively you get Lewis, Reed, Hall, Taylor, Rolle, Merriman, and Co.

DE-Kevin Carter

DT-Marcus Stroud

DT-John Henderson

DE-Richard Seymour

OLB-Takeo Spikes

MLB-Odell Thurman

OLB-Brian Simmons

CB-Champ Bailey

FS-Corey Chaveous

SS-Marlon McCree

CB-Dunta Robinson

Andra Davis, Randell Godfrey..any of thsoe for Simmons and Odell's spot.

You are correct.....Don't know where I got him in the SEC from...

No biggie, you offered.

Right into the trap. He completed SEVEN passes for less than 100 yards against Auburn. If he improved, it was only in turning around and giving up the rock. Mustain threw twice in the final 38 plays of the game. They ran wild on Auburn and USC stopped them cold...

Against USC he threw a big pick in that game. Against Auburn he threw a big TD pass of 50 yards early in the game that was huge for Arkansas momentum. Passing yards is way overrated. When you have a running team you need a QB to manage the game and make a couple big plays. He did that against Auburn, but didnt do that against USC.

Just maybe the USC D is better than Auburn. We're talking about giving up almost 300 yards on the ground to ARKANSAS. It's a joke for a team that claims to be #2 and plays like Auburn did this week. No way around it...

Maybe the only reason they gave up that many yards was because their defense was physically exhausted, due to playing USC and LSU within the past 3 weeks. You have to remember they gave up their FIRST rushing touchdown of the season against Arkansas. After the LSU game, Auburns coach said he didn't believe they would be able to recover physically by the end of the regular season, due to the physical nature of that game. Personally, I believe it.

By the way, Auburn never claimed to be #2. The voters claimed them to be.

If he believes it, why would any of his players think otherwise... ;)

LSU is a good team, but they are far from great. I didn't hear this out of Tressel when they left Texas or Iowa. Are we to believe that LSU is a more powerful opponent? With the turnovers and ST play, how is that legit???
