I don't think I've ever had a bad Cracker Barrel meal. High quality meal every time. Service is usually hit or miss.

Eating at CB reminds me of high school lunch because you are a big room with lots of noise, moving around and people eating.

And I remember when Bardstown was playing for a State Championship.

Bardstown is very cyclical. Won title in ‘01, that was a dominant team. Out of playoffs in ‘03. State-semis in ‘05 and again in ‘09. 10-2 last year (all seniors), 3-7 (all freshmen and sophomores) this year. It’s as if the folks here only have sex that produce football players every two or three years.

The Iowa Children's Hospital opened recently, overlooking UI's Kinnick Stadium. Between the 1st and 2nd quarters of home games, the fans turn and wave to the kids and families watching the game.
