thsrocks
It was a wet 2nd half as Trinity extended 21-0 halftime lead to a 34-7 final. Fern Creek has some tough and athletic players and dressed 30 or so. They should do well in 5A in the coming years. Trinity was opportunistic as usual as the Rocks scored a touchdown on a Tiger fumble into the end zone. Later, an interception was returned inside the fivyard line, leading to another score. The offense was by Junior QB Jake McKean and Sopohomore Seth Jutz. The two basically split time and set up a challenging off-season as they vie to take over in 2018 for Senior Nick Bohn. The Creekers supplied the chain gang and gate keeper. The admission money went to Fern Creek as they agreed to move the game from Fern Creek to the artificial surface at Marshall Stadium. 10 minute quarters were played throughout the game. The Shamrock JVs finished 6-3 with two losses coming to St. Xavier and a season opening loss at Carmel(IN). This team defeated Male, Elder (OH), DeSales, Covington Catholic, Central, and Fern Creek.
