I believe this is correct. HHS is probably a fringe top ten in 5A. The margin in this game is a testament to how good CovCath is right now.

CovCath isn't going anywhere in the years to come. Eddie is one of the best coaches in the state and he will adjust to his talent year in and year out. He believes in putting the best 11 on the field and if that means players going both ways then that's what he will do. Eddie learned this from playing at NewCath and coaching at NewCath, as did Terry Brown. Eddie is a true leader and surrounds himself with very good assistants.

Congrats to the Colonels... Eddie has it going on for sure. Cov Cath would have to poop the bed to not win a state championship this year. Hopefully the Birds will learn from the Colonels, get to the rematch and have a better showing.

I think Highlands will see the Colonels again. They are better than most teams in 5A, but CovCath is a different animal this year. They are very talented and very well coached

I would like to see this Cov Cath team play at some point this season just for comparison sake. It would have been awesome to have had this CC team play against one of the HHS teams of the recent history (07-14).

In the grand scheme, it doesn't. Only coming up now since this year's game was a shutout. But both schools have successful programs that look back with respect on past team's achievements.
