I think most people on here would agree that Desales has the better resume. I'm sorry but beating Lexington schools, isn't that impressive. And I'm including our win over Catholic in that. I think LCA is by far the best team this year in Lexington.

This week, even without Carr, CAL is better than Somerset. Somerset has zero offense. And while their defense is pretty good, it's not as good as DeSales, or CAL.

All this is still in just good fun. I hope we get to meet Danville in Lexington, but we still have quite a few games ahead of us. The biggest being on Friday. It's all fun to pump up our teams, and compare this to that, but lets just keep taking care of business, and let the chips fall where they may.

I think the Douglass win is better than they show, but because Douglass was a new school they didn't get any starting credit like some others. It really is about too close to call between the two. You'd have a strong argument putting either at #1.

Mayfield High School has won twelve KHSAA football championships (1977, 1978, 1985, 1986, 1993, 1995, 2002, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015). Yes, just a runner-up last year and lost to Corbin this year. But the heart and soul of that team is Hurt kid. Once back.....watch out for them. Joe M. will find a way.
