Racial Inequality?

Featured Replies

Many factors can be linked to this. One of which is the misguided War on Poverty of 1964. The "State" can NOT be a substitute for a father.

I can say with certainty that no one is asking the "State" to step in, other than Bernie Sanders because that's his answer to everything, rather that the "State" allow fathers to go home to their children at night. I know, that's a privilege afforded only to law enforcement though.

Why has no one covered the lies Michael Bennett told via twitter and covered by the news at the time? Then when body cam footage is released by the Las Vegas police, no racial profiling, no threats against his life, completely made up account of what actually happened.

Doesn't fit the narrative of the falseness that has been spread by group thinkers and identity politicos.

Mighty convenient that the officer with his gun pulled forgot to turn on his body cam, but yeah, let's just take an edited video as the true story of what happened that night.

Why would he not have his gun pulled? Reports of active shooter??

Also had no ID on him but was let go after a google check on a cell phone only showing a picture, guessing that doesn’t happen with those of equality. Just those under racial inequality.

I didn't question his having his gun pulled, only that he didn't have his camera activated. Those are the things that make these cases look suspicious.

Some people are famous. That's how it has worked for decades, much to the ire of us peasants.

He is a human and was in a high stress situation. Would you do everything perfect if you thought you were walking into an active shooter situation?

I don't know much about the incident, but if there was ever a place of a city that didn't need body cameras, it would be Vegas... on The Strip.

Agreed, yet he screams racial inequality

1) It's not my responsibility to adhere to that protocol.

2) Let's apply that logic to young black suspects in what, based on anecdotal/personal experience, is a life or death situation. Would you expect them to do everything perfectly? We both know what a slip up could cost them...

Would Aaron Rodgers have been held at gunpoint?

Young black men aren't the only ones shot by police. A slip up could get anyone killed in a dangerous situation with police or with anyone with a gun. One slip up could get a police officer killed.

But we're not talking about reaching in a pocket when you shouldn't, or running when you should get down. We're talking about someone who forgot to push a button. He still ran towards what he thought was a deadly situation, and was called a racist for his efforts.

Would Aaron Rodgers have been held at gunpoint?

He wasn’t held at gunpoint! Come on now.

So why upon being told he is free to go he shakes the officers hand? Guessing if Aaron Rogers was held at gunpoint he isn’t shaking hands after

We don't have a police problem in this country. We have a crime problem. And the more this non sense goes on, the less proactive police will be which means violent crime will (and already has) increase.
