Jumper_Dad Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Arizona Wildcats basketball coach allegedly paid 5-star recruit $15,
Jumper_Dad Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 Where does Arizona and Miller end up after this?
Irish Cat Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 15 sounds like a bargin. Kid must not have known he could get 100 at UL.
theguru Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Is Sean Miller using the Rick Pitino I didn't know anything about it defense too?
Randy Parker Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Is Sean Miller using the Rick Pitino I didn't know anything about it defense too? I imagine they all will.
NamecipS Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I imagine they all will. Audio or video tape or it didn't happen. Ha
Randy Parker Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Audio or video tape or it didn't happen. Ha Pretty much :lol2:
JDEaston Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Audio or video tape or it didn't happen. Ha Seems like the Fed's are doing a pretty good job of providing the audio/video factor of it.
theguru Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Audio or video tape or it didn't happen. Ha Which will inevitably push us towards Big Brother.
jericho Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You can bet your butt that if the Feds are in on it there is audio or video or both.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Just cause the Feds have audio/video against Arizona. It doesn't mean they'll have it of Sean Miller. I got a feeling we are going to hear the term "lack of institutional control" a ton in the upcoming weeks/months.
bulldog77 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I got a feeling we are going to hear the term "lack of institutional control" a ton in the upcoming weeks/months. And that is EXACTLY why Pitino, et al, are completely at fault. The folks on ESPN and other networks yesterday explained in detail how this entire process works from AAU coaches, to players, to parents, to college coaches and schools. It isn't a big secret like some want to profess it to be (i.e. Pitino). This is a KNOWN process and apparently a wide-spread, accepted one at that. Denial simply isn't a realistic defense to anyone other than the guys pleading the ignorance and their lawyers. When this explodes to include the vast majority of big time programs, as it is surely going to do, then the next defense will be "Well, EVERYBODY ELSE DOES IT, so WE thought it was acceptable." Sean Miller goes down as will a good number of others in the coming months. At least until the NCAA comes up with a way to spin this and save face.
