Who wins this battle of Northern Kentucky Powers? Beechwood just drilled 2A Covington Holy Cross while Simon Kenton survived a scare from 5A Highlands.

Not feeling so great about this one! Beechwood plays so well against teams 1A-3A but when they get against schools that platoon regularly it proves to be to much and wears their line out and they seem to struggle in the 2nd half against those teams. I will be there with my Red and White on and cheering my hardest!!!!!

Corbin does not play anyone both ways and they handled that. Beechwood only has a few that play both ways regularly. Derry, Castleman, Massie and Heist mostly, but they spell everyone. It will be tough but I wouldn't be shocked with a BW win.

I wouldn't be shocked either but it just seems the bigger the team gets the more it wears on Beechwood. I am hoping we can stay fresh and push through the second half and if they can they can shock the Neers.

Beechwood struggles against tall receivers. SK has 2 good ones at 6'4 Smith and 6'3 Hayden.

SK was lucky to survive against Highlands at home. I think Beechwood will take care of business at home.

Kind of a true test for both. Big SK win and we can consider them in the mix for some kind of playoff run. BW win and they cement the 1A heavy favorite role. BW will need another effort like they had against Corbin and they can pull it off. Still not sure how good SK is. They look real good at times and then meh at times. SK might wear them down especially if they get a lead. Game being at BW might be the difference.

Beechwood is the heavy A favorite regardless of the outcome of this game. Really don't see any A teams within 14 points of them.
