They stretched and went to team O in warm ups vs Kings, I even saw extra point attempts.

Coach Eviston was indeed the coach for CovCath two years ago when they did this vs Highlands.. and lost

What is this limitation for Beechwood to increase in size and enrollment??

Is this thread real? People bringing up where a team warms up, bands playing music, a team in the wrong end zone, unhappy parents, police escorts, pretty people and the top 10 list. Only missing question is did Wiggins transfer and take up football!

 

Ironically, he did. But not at either of these schools. But no worries, he'll be back at Newport in time for hoops.

It's a independent school district, so it is their right to decide whether or not to allow out of district students to pay tuition in order to attend, but the campus really isn't set up for any significantly larger enrollment numbers.

They better be careful, look what closing off outside students did to that other district in NKY.

Nahh...Beechwood is pretty assuredly going to be 2A the next go 'round.

I wasn't meaning Beechwood necessarily. I was talking about the possibility of schools controlling their numbers just to stay in a particular class. Thanks for the input! I don't know much about private schools, just curious.

Obvious to whom? Beechwood was warming up in the middle of the field and Covcath entered from the far side away from the school. Maybe that should be discussed instead of assuming everyone should know what end of the field to warm up on or don't warm up in the middle of the field so it wouldn't be up for debate.

 

Sorry didnt mean to ruffle your feathers. I just thought that the 50 yard line was the middle of the field, where teams make the wall of their players at the 45 and the 35, where beechwoods line of scrimmage for their warm ups was, is on one side. But maybe you know something I don't.

Well I don't get the idea that that would be a very large number of schools, if any. They would have to be a school whose enrollment puts them on a borderline to begin with, plus then they would have to have the resources to put towards trying to cater themselves to staying in a certain football classification. I just don't see any school doing that for the sake of one single sport.

People are building houses on any little price of ground or side yard they can find in Beechwood District so the in district numbers plus the limited room on campus may eventually require them to restrict to Disrrict only. Same for Fort Thomas.
