September 20, 20179 yr Sorry, this argument starts and ends with the Philly Phanatic. The original Phanatic was Dave Raymond, son of football coaching legend, Tubby Raymond, the guy who developed the "Delaware Wing-T" offense. The Phanatic took my 2 month old daughter out onto the field once when I got to throw out the first pitch at a Phillies game many years ago.
September 20, 20179 yr Rhode Island School of Design's mascot "Scrotie" The Ball Report -Their hockey team is "The Nads", so at games everyone shouts "Go Nads!!!" -Their baskeball team is "The Balls" and the cheerleaders are "The Jock Straps" because they support "The Balls". -Their sailing club is called the "The Seamen" -Their fencing team is called "The...well... something one might do to their finger accidentally with a pin". I'm laughing so hard I'm frothing at the mouth. Yes, I said "hard." What in the name of all that's holy do they design at the RI School of Design?

September 20, 20179 yr Rhode Island School of Design's mascot "Scrotie" The Ball Report -Their hockey team is "The Nads", so at games everyone shouts "Go Nads!!!" Back in the day when a bunch of us were still playing soccer, our team name was the NADS. We had cut off t shirts and the writing on the front of the shirts was the same as the Hockey team's - 'Go Nads!' We thought it was funny as heck when going to McDonalds or somewhere after a game and a little kid would read the shirts and ask mommy or daddy what Nads were.
September 22, 20179 yr Big Red Dot from the homer standpoint. I miss Youppi. For MLB standpoints since Youppi is gone, I'll take the Phanatic.
