I am glad to see that Johnson Central is 4th in 3a and 12th overall. I hope that they keep taking care of business...

Pikeville has to play Jenkins (4.7), Phelps (3.8), Allen Central (0.1), South Floyd (0.1)...and Betsy Layne (0.1 in 2A) is in the district next year.:madman:

I still just can't believe that Bath Co. is that far below Fairview in Class A. Either Bath should be ranked higher or Fairview should be lower.

are you complaining??? The coach has to love it, should be a winning season!

Switch Manual and Warren Central. Did everyone just forget about that game?

I don't think your post was being serious. I'm sure the coach doesn't like it a bit.

Hopkinsville @ 74.1, 8th in AAA seems very generous

But my shocker of the day has to be 1-4 Tilghman @ 71.5 which is good enough for 9TH in AAA.

That being said I think Hoptown and PT will battle it out for the district championship and both are better than their records but I assume that since these teams are given a numeric ranking that some sort of formula is involved and its hard to imagine a 1-4 team still managing to pull the 8TH and 9th spots in AAA. Anyway when it is all said and done the rankings may turn out to be pretty close to right but they sure seem off at the moment

All the more reason Pikeville should move up to 2A next year.

I feel your pain...In more years than most, there will be 5 games in which the clock is running non-stop after halftime. But, on the other hand, all you have to do is beat either Hazard or Paintsville and pretty much have a home playoff game.

Hazard isn't in the district after this year.

CLASS AAA

1. Highlands 87.4

2. Covington Cath. 87.1

3. Bowling Green 87.0

4. Johnson Central 80.9

It would be nice to see JC in the 3 spot... but there is no way that they will gain 6.1 points in this weeks game.

I don't argue with Mayfield being #4 in Class A behind the teams that they are behind and having their 71.4 rating...but having them behind both Hopkinsville and Tilghman, two teams that the Cards beat, is a little baffling...especially seeing how they are 1-4 on the year. Just always funny as to how they come up with these ratings and place these teams. I know they have a formula...or so they say...but I think we all know that most if not all of these ratings are biased for the most part and can be construed one way or the other. The only poll that matters starts with district play, into the postseason, and culmulates on the first weekend in December.

Speaking of the first weekend in December...has anyone out their in BGP land heard of how the brilliant boys and girls over there at KHSAA are planning on doing the state championships next year with the new six classification systems. That is one thing I have not heard as of yet...thanks for any input

I don't look for Bowling Green to lose in the regular season. There only loss is a close one to St. X... wow these boys are good.
