I have grown fond of Chad after my initial reaction of him being just another "me, me, me, me, me" athlete. But I have come to realize, he does it for fun, where the others do it for the spotlight on him.

 

I do wonder if the fun leaves when the losing starts and the way he views the situation changes. It is easy to be fun-loving when all is good.

 

But look how quick it changed on him when the halftime/2nd half of the Steelers-Bengals game occurred.

What has Toomer done???? They signed Plaxico to take his spot and moved him to the slot position, and you didn't hear a peep from Toomer about it. He's a classy guy. Tiki slippd up once and said one bad thing, Strahan the same. Shockey slips up once in a while, but time for a change?!? :laugh: That's rediculous.

The Giants should be a LEGIT Super Bowl Contender IMO. The season is young so we shall see. I think if he wins then great! It is a TOUGH profession. I think if they fall way short then he is gone. If he's in between then it just depends on how things play out.

That is all just my opinion. It will be interesting to follow. With all that being said Shockey has always been a loudmouth so I don't put too much stock in him.
