The Walking Dead (Season 8)

I enjoyed last nights show, not so much with several other episodes during the season. The ending with Maggie, Daryl, and Jesus was interesting.

Good finale.

The Maggie insurrection will definitely be interesting next season.

For those that didn’t watch FWD after, Morgan just juiced that series. That was great tv.

I completely agree on all points. Last nights episode of FTWD was really good and is one of the best for quite a while of both shows IMO. Morgan will bring much more to FTWD. I liked the direction it went during Season 3 too, especially closer to the end of it.

Except it makes no sense.

I can’t understand how Darryl is with them after all that he and Rick have been through.

If not mistaken it was Darryl fault that Negan escaped the first time when he rammed the truck into the door.

I agree. Daryl seems to want Neegan dead more than Dwight ?

Everything may be a game next season.

That they disagree with Rick on not killing Negan?

That they disagree with Rick on not killing Negan?

They made it seem like Maggie was talking about turning on Rick. Would that not be completely out of character for Jesus?

This show is creatively bankrupt. There is nothing left, evil Maggie really? A long time podcast I listen to who’s covered the show since episode 1.1 is no longer watching.

I still love the show, love FTWD and will be watching for the duration.

Yes

I agree and I will also keep watching. No sense in quitting now.

I don't think she's necessarily thinking of turning on Rick, as much as she just wants to kill Negan. I think those are two different things.

And that's why the show has lost so many. None of it makes any sense and the story line is just incredibly lazy.

If that's what she wants, she should walk up to the cage they're keeping him in and put a bullet between his eyes. Problem solved.

I think the Maggie/Daryl thing was done more to keep people turned in for next season because the writing is so bad. We saw no indication of the Whisperers or the 3 Women who gave the Hilltop the food an left (also the book on recovery). They just totally abandoned that storyline.

I'll keep watching since I was in from the beginning, but I am not excited about it.
