The mid season finale will suck us all back in temporarily but this series is a sinking ship.

Your the one Wireman! This season looks like what would happen if you gave the Sharknado directors military/action scenes to produce lol.

TWD'S audience has fallen below 10 million viewers for episodes 2 & 3. First time they've been under 10 million since November of 2012. Still the top rated cable show on Sunday, though.

I have enjoyed this season, but Sunday's installment was the weakest of Season 8.

This show has been that way for a while.

Last night's episode was one of the worst I can remember. The only thing good about it was the immediate and unceremonious disposal of Morales. I loved that. I laughed out loud when it happened (I'm not sure if that's the reaction they were going for but it happened and I enjoyed it). I guess Gregory's character is enjoyable in a love to hate him kind of way, but the awkward forced attempt at comedy in those scenes is painful. Way too much time was spent on the death of an underdeveloped character that quite frankly I just didn't care about in Eric. As a result those scenes just felt like they were dragging on and on for me. They could have at least attempted to develop this tertiary character before killing him like they did with Dr. Denise. The Morgan vs Jesus storyline is just another take on one that they've rehashed so many times now I can't get myself to care. At no point did I think any serious harm was going to come to either of them during that fight, and it has been made abundantly clear that Morgan is mentally unstable for seasons now so why was this necessary? Finally, was the savior who was manning the big guns at the end asleep while all his buddies were getting slaughtered outside, or did he just think it'd be cool to let them all die so he could start shooting at the most cinematically exciting time?

There's so much dumb in this show it's too hard to list, but i agree with everything you said. I'm not sure why it keeps getting worse, but i think the members of BGP could write a better show.

10,000,000,000 bullets shot and only a handful of deaths.

Everyone has fully automatic rifles and unlimited ammo. They are using some cheat codes.

They're super accurate at times, uncle to miss and hitting every target in the head. Other times they can't hit any of several targets directly in front of them.

To me, it is not that it has been bad as much as the past three hours/episodes have been one continuation with so little advancement; thus, making it bad.

It would reel it all back in for most of us if Negan would bash that tiger in the head next week.

That's my big issue this season. They're 20% done with the season and NOTHING has happened.

I want to read and comment in this thread, but I haven't watched the last episode yet.

Just watch the scene from Robocop when ED-209 shoots the guy in the board room and you'll basically be caught up.

Watch the last 30 seconds. Nothing happens before then.

And yet here you are reading and commenting. :ohbrother: :lol2:
