July 20, 20179 yr this is my favorite tournament to watch. Koepka looks strong. I guess hanging out at Valhalla and going to Forecastle didn't really affect Justin Thomas much in preparation either.:lol2:
July 20, 20179 yr I agree with Doc, The Open and The Masters are both a grade above everything else...I love to watch these two.
July 20, 20179 yr I hope they have at least one day where the rain is blowing in sideways! Wouldn't be the British without at least one crappy weather day.
July 20, 20179 yr Rory with a tough 1st hole, but a crazy good putt to save a +1 start on the first hole. He was looking right down the barrel of a Double or maybe Triple to open up today, then drops a putt from off the green for Bogey.
July 22, 20179 yr Looks like Louisville native Jodie Mudd's record of 63 in 1991 at the course will likey go down today. http://www.golfchannel.com/video/1991-british-open-jodie-mudd/
July 22, 20179 yr Looks like Louisville native Jodie Mudd's record of 63 in 1991 at the course will likey go down today. http://www.golfchannel.com/video/1991-british-open-jodie-mudd/ Brandon Grace finishes with a 62. Lowest round in a major.
July 22, 20179 yr Spieth looks very strong! Really enjoy after 3 rounds three Americans hold the top 3 spots... It's a major and we've seen some tragic breakdowns on day 4 in the British Open. Just hoping one of the three can hold on for the win. I'm a fan of all three. I'd really like to see Kuchar win. He's just a really likable guy. Koepka and Spieth have youth going for them and more opportunities remain for them... GO KOOCH and GO USA!!!
July 23, 20179 yr Spieth's recovery so far after hitting an absolutely horrendous tee shot on 13 has been remarkable. Birdie on 14 and eagle on 15 to retake the lead.
July 24, 20179 yr What a rebound from Speith. That eagle putt was demoralizing. I like both guys, but I'd like to see Kuchar get a major win here shortly.
July 24, 20179 yr Author My oh my was Spieth good yesterday. He hits just enough bad shots that I start to relate, then he saves par and bogey and I return to Earth. One leg short of the career slam. Anyone else think he wins the PGA in a couple months?
