Is there something that you purchase way too much of... more than you need, can afford, or even have room for? What item is your biggest shopping weakness?

 

For me, it seems to have become tennis shoes. When I see a pair of sharp running shoes, I have a hard time passing them up, even though I have more than I will need the next five years. Used to, I was hung up on sport coats. But after I shed the coat for running attire, it's shoes now. Found this pair of Adidas Torsion the other day($130 shoes for $37) and couldn't resist. I rationalized it by saying I didn't have another pair of Adidas.

 

 

What about you, BGP'ers? What do you buy/collect way too many of?

Shoes and ballcaps.

 

Bought a pair of these, worn once or twice, at a yard sale for $5. My wife's students back in the day used to say I had shoe game.

Sometimes you can pick up a nice hardback for a buck at those Dollar Tree stores. I've bought several.

Love Half-Price Books. Love my library book sales even more. Picked up 12-15 of them a couple of weeks ago when Boone County had theirs. Spent about $10.
