Malik Williams didn't play in either game. Neither did Brian Bowen. There were 2 others if I'm not mistaken. But if Nunge and Williams play, we're saying "maybe next year...." right now

Great win for the state, it's been a long time, hopefully 2018 can start a streak. It's crazy to think basketball likely wasn't going to be the direction Ohmer was destined for, then a regional game winning shot and the course of history takes a 180. What a ride it must be for the Jake.

 

I saw a twitter picture from the HL's Josh Moore, I believe he guessed about 400 in attendance. I know I'm part of the problem since I didn't go but it's tough to see the lack of interest on this side when Indiana is still getting 6,000 to watch.

Bowen, who played @ the prep school in Laporte isn't allowed to play in any IHSAA events. We don't consider that an Indiana school. Bowen's a Michigan kid anyways. Williams and Nunge on the other are two 6'11 difference makers. All you Louisville Cardinal fans will enjoy Williams the next few years. A farther along and more developed version of Ray Spalding with 3 pt range. Might even play some @ the wing position.

For the record, the Jake could play and star for most any h.s. team here in Indiana as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if Kentucky lobbies for an end to the series after tonight's W. Lol

Head the announced attendance was 1,900. No way there was that many there. Looked like less than 1,000 to me.

 

Jake had 5 steals that led to points in the 2nd half when KY jumped out to a big lead. He hit some clutch shots to give or keep the lead in the overtimes. Not sure why KY didn't do a player of the game. Heard they did that in Indy Saturday. Jake or Terry Taylor would have been it.

It is time to beat a dead horse: NKU missed out on The Jake.

Of course I am glad to see this happen, but have to say I am pleasantly surprised after watching the Sr.'s play the Jr.'s the other night and saw the Jr.'s lead for much of the game and miss a good open look at the buzzer to tie it. Much congrats to the Ky Seniors.
